The sculpture arrives white
The kiddush cup and its multi-tiered pedestal begin as an elaborate blank canvas — a white sculpture waiting for your community to bring it to life.
Each participant chooses a color
From a choice of ten colors, each person selects a small cup of paint — their color representing their unique light and contribution.
Share your gratitude
Stepping up to the sculpture, each participant completes the sentence: "I am grateful for…" — then pours their paint over the top as they speak.

Every time a kiddush cup is filled for Shabbat, a holiday, or a life cycle event — it is filled to the top with wine and then overflowed. The overflow is intentional. It visualizes our blessings as abundant, as more than enough.
Overflowing Blessings takes that ritual and scales it to a grand, communal experience. Designed in collaboration with Dan Gabber, the sculpture transforms a concept every Jewish family knows into a participatory work of public art.
